Under the leadership of S\u00e9bastien Jungen, the company places social and environmental responsibility at the core of its strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This commitment is demonstrated through internationally recognised labels and certifications, including Certified B Corporation\u2122, as well as various distinctions highlighting quality, governance and environmental management. Today, Bamolux employs around 70 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Bamolux : transition r\u00e9ussie vers la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xxqjRIqx6Mk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group etape\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading special\" id=\"idee\">Idea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Decarbonising business travel through full fleet electrification<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Bamolux has decided to progressively electrify its car and van fleet in order to reduce emissions linked to business travel and improve the overall efficiency of its operations.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group etape\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading special\" id=\"conception\">Concept<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Needs analysis and sizing of the electric fleet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Electrification began as early as 2016 with the introduction of a first electric vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several parameters were analysed to ensure appropriate sizing aligned with actual needs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>number of required charging points,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>types of vehicles (cars and vans),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>daily routes and distances travelled,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>user profiles (sales, technical staff, management),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>potential use for external clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An internal support process was also implemented. Employees were able to test the vehicles to reduce reluctance and encourage buy-in. This process also included an assessment of employees\u2019 charging needs, which led to the installation of home charging points for some of them, financed by the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In parallel, the company gathered early information on available subsidies for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>new zero-emission vehicles,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>on-site charging infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group etape\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading special\" id=\"mise-oeuvre\">Implementation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deployment of the electric fleet and charging infrastructure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The transition to electric mobility required organisational adjustments. Route planning was revised to integrate charging times and optimise vehicle usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, the fleet includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>20 vehicles for commercial and operational use,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 charging points installed on-site,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>several charging points installed at employees\u2019 homes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group etape\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading special\" id=\"resultat\">Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Increased operational efficiency and reduced CO\u2082 emissions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The electrification of the fleet has improved vehicle efficiency while significantly reducing its carbon footprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, electric vehicles already represent a substantial share of the company\u2019s business travel.
