As its primary purpose is to supply heat for comfort and operational needs, the heating system must be scaled to provide the temperature levels and necessary quantities to keep the business running. Nowadays, there are heat production systems that are adapted to each temperature level are flexible in terms of power and are environmentally friendly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"type-numerotation\"><span class=\"type-numerotation-span visually-hidden\"><\/span>Definition of the company&#8217;s heating requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analysis of the current situation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Determine the different parameters of the current installation, e.g. age, general condition, temperature level, consumption and associated costs, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification of new requirements for heat production that may allow a reduction or increase in rated capacity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessment of whether the current heat production method is still appropriate for the company\u2019s current situation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of regulatory requirements and potential new permitting obligations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Needs assessment by a qualified tradesman (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fgt.lu\/fr\/nos-membres\/?selectCat=Installateur%2BChauffage%2BSanitaire-Frigoriste-Ventilation&amp;searchKeywords=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heating installer<\/a>) or by an consulting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oai.lu\/fr\/9\/topmenu\/annuaire-membres\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">engineering office<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analysis of general heating requirements in accordance with DIN EN 12831.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of the power required by heat-consuming appliances<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis and reassessment of the temperature levels required for the various applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"type-numerotation\"><span class=\"type-numerotation-span visually-hidden\"><\/span>Identification of the solution and verification of the feasibility of the heating installation project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Definition of the solution<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Based on the needs analysis, a solution is defined in collaboration with a supplier, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oai.lu\/fr\/9\/topmenu\/annuaire-membres\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">consulting engineering office<\/a> or with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fgt.lu\/fr\/nos-membres\/?selectCat=Installateur%2BChauffage%2BSanitaire-Frigoriste-Ventilation&amp;searchKeywords=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">qualified professional (heating installer)<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In addition to the main heat production unit, recovering waste heat and the unit with solar thermal heating must also be taken into consideration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verification of the proposed heating installation regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/guichet.public.lu\/en\/entreprises\/urbanisme-environnement\/commodo-incommodo\/autorisations-commodo\/commodo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">operating permits<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>When adapting existing installations and particularly when setting up new installations, check the nomenclature of classified establishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Drawing up specifications and requesting tenders for the heating system project<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"type-numerotation\"><span class=\"type-numerotation-span visually-hidden\"><\/span>Subsidy application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-light-green-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong>Please note: any application for government or non-government subsidies must comply with the &#8220;incentive effect&#8221;, subject to compliance with the subsidy conditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To respect the \u201cincentive effect\u201d, no binding commitment (cost estimation signed; payed a deposit) can be made BEFORE having received the tentative settlement from the State or the electricity and natural gas supplier following an assistance request.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Government subsidies<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/guichet.public.lu\/en\/entreprises\/financement-aides\/regime-fit-4\/fit-4-sustainability.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/guichet.public.lu\/en\/entreprises\/financement-aides\/regime-fit-4\/fit-4-sustainability.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Fit 4 Sustainability programme<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fit 4 Sustainability programme provides co-financing for environmental audits and action plans on one or more topics selected by the company (energy, GHG, waste, water, etc.).<br>Aid of up to <strong>60%, 70% and 80%, depending on the size of the company<\/strong>, for the fees associated with carrying out an environmental study (energy audit and\/or carbon footprint assessment) and a detailed, costed action plan to reduce its consumption\/GHG emissions (medium- and long-term investments, ROI, etc.) \u2013 open to SMEs and large companies (except those that must carry out studies required by the environmental authorities, including mandatory energy audits)<br>For questions: <a href=\"fit4sustainability@luxinnovation.lu\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"fit4sustainability@luxinnovation.lu\">Luxinnovation<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/guichet.public.lu\/en\/entreprises\/financement-aides\/regime-sme-packages\/soutien-pme\/sme-packages-sustainability.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><span lang=\"en\">SME Packages &#8211; Government subsidies cannot be accumulated for the same project.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application for subsidies from electricity and natural gas suppliers<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As of 2015, natural gas and electricity suppliers are obliged under the Commitment Mechanism to generate some energy savings among their consumers. Since then, energy suppliers have been offering monitoring and advisory services as well as subsidy programmes for consumers to implement energy efficiency measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The providers offering this service to companies are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enoprimes.lu\/fr\/entreprises\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enoprimes<\/a> Enovos + SUDenergie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sudenergie.lu\/en\/service\/save-energy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SUDenergie<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sudstroum.lu\/en\/customer-services\/advice-financial-assistance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sudstroum<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-background-color has-background\">It should be noted that the subsidies from suppliers can be accumulated with any state subsidies for the same project.<\/p>\n\n\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/guichet.public.lu\/en\/entreprises\/fiscalite\/bonification-impot-investissement\/bonification-transition-ecologique-energetique.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tax relief for investment in an ecological and energy transition project<\/a><\/h4>\n<p>The tax relief is calculated based on the investments and operating expenses incurred as part of an ecological and energy transition project.<br \/>\nThe tax relief rate is set at 18% and is applied directly to the amount of tax due.<br \/>\nThis deduction can be combined with standard state subsidies.<\/p>\n<p>For the project to be eligible, it must meet at least one of the following objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improve the energy efficiency of a production process<\/li>\n<li>Improve the material efficiency of a production process<\/li>\n<li>Decarbonise a production process<\/li>\n<li>Reduce air pollution at the production site (excluding CO2 emissions)<\/li>\n<li>Produce or store renewable energy for self-consumption<\/li>\n<li>Promote the extended use of products through reuse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For certain objectives, minimum thresholds must be met.<br \/>\nTo verify your eligibility and ensure that these thresholds are satisfied, it is recommended that the impact of the measure on one of the above conditions be certified by an expert or a design office.<\/p>\n<p>Further details and
