In particular, BMS takes care of the remote control of the hotel’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, which consume a lot of power.

This technology is suitable for existing hotels wishing to retrofit a BMS system, as well as new buildings where BMS is implemented from the design stage.

The company will be able to make substantial energy savings and reduce its carbon footprint by installing this technology, which has been on the market for over 5 years. This measure is quite simple to implement, even if there is a medium-to-long-term return on investment and it requires a partial shutdown of production during the technical installation stage.

Building management system (BMS) offers a multitude of control options for optimised facilities management: timers, CO2 sensors, presence sensors on light fixtures, heating/air conditioning regulation depending on the climate, etc.

In addition to controlling the facilities, the BMS system is continuously monitoring the equipment, to analyse the operation of individual units and detect possible anomalies so that they can be remedied quickly. Some BMS software now includes energy management modules to monitor and analyse the consumption of the most important uses.

Energy and environmental impact

Energy gains take the form of improved control of the hotel’s energy-intensive equipment (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, domestic hot water, etc.)

As for environmental gain, this depends directly on the consumption item affected by the energy gain. Hotels that have adopted this building management system can save up to 30% on their thermal energy consumption, as well as 10% on their electricity consumption. This optimisation also results in a significant reduction in carbon emissions.

State subsidy application

State subsidies

Please note: any application for government or non-government subsidies must comply with the “incentive effect”, subject to compliance with the subsidy conditions.
To ensure that the ‘incentive effect’ is respected, no binding commitment (signing a quotation; paying an advance) may be made BEFORE submitting the application file or receiving the agreement in principle from the State or the electricity and natural gas supplier following an application for subsidies.

SME Packages – Sustainability

Financial Aid for small and medium-sized enterprises covering up to 70% of eligible costs for the implementation of a project aimed at reducing the environmental impact.
